  • Please mail your donation cheque to Bethesda Foundation Inc., 3280 Schmon Parkway, Thorold, ON L2V 4Y6.

  • Eligible gifts include monetary contributions made by cash, cheque, or credit card. Charitable tax receipts are also provided for eligible in-kind donations and planned gifts such as bequests, endowments, RRSPs, RRIFs, or insurance gifts (enduring property).

  • Yes. Bethesda can issue replacement receipts for original receipts that are lost.

    Don't hesitate to contact us at 905.684.6918 ext. 266 to request a replacement copy.

  • If you mailed in your donation, we generally issue receipts within 30 days of receiving the gift. During peak giving times, such as the holiday giving season or at our fundraising events, receipts may take slightly longer to arrive.

    Your electronic tax receipt will be emailed to you immediately after receiving your donation if you donate online. Please check your Junk Mail folder if the receipt did not arrive in your Inbox.

    If your receipt does not arrive within 24 hours, don't hesitate to contact us at 905.684.6918 ext. 266.

  • A charitable gift receipt can be used for income tax purposes and issued for all eligible donations.

    A gift acknowledgement receipt will be issued for gifts that may not qualify for a charitable receipt or donors who may not require a charitable tax receipt.

  • The Canada Revenue Agency website has valuable tools and information about charitable giving and what types of gifts qualify for charitable tax receipts.

  • Bethesda accepts VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and Amex (American Express). We also accept donations by way of cheques, cash, and securities.
