Bethesda offers comprehensive, fee-for-service options designed to support children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or developmental disabilities and their families. Individualized treatment plans are collaboratively developed with individuals and caregivers to promote growth, independence, and improved quality of life.

Individual Clinical Services

Occupational Therapy (OT) supports children, youth, and their families by identifying factors affecting daily activities like self-care, play, social communication, and coping. Through assessment and intervention, OT addresses motor skills, sensory responses, and visual-perceptual development, offering strategies to enhance participation and skill-building.
* Services may be eligible for billing to private insurance providers.

Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) work with families who have concerns about their child/youth's communication development. SLPs assess and treat a broad range of speech, language, communication, swallowing, and eating problems.
Group Services
Bethesda Children and Youth Services offers Fee for Service group programs aimed at achieving specific outcomes such as improving social communication, managing anxiety, improving and/or refining fine motor skills, and much more.
Our programs are facilitated by regulated professionals to support children and youth in reaching their goals.
Fine Motor Skills
This after-school group is designed for children 7-9 years old. It aims to improve/refine fine motor skills essential to daily routines, such as writing, dressing, and using utensils effectively.
* OAP Core Clinical Funding can be applied toward these group programs

Psychological Assessments
Bethesda offers Psychological Assessments to evaluate a child or youth’s cognitive, adaptive, social, emotional, and academic development. The process may include interviews, observation, testing, and consultations with other professionals. These assessments can help determine eligibility for developmental services.
The cost is $2500, with potential coverage through private insurance providers.
