The Prep Program Preparation for Life
The PREP Program is designed for youth ages 9-12 years and will focus on developing core skills to increase independence and prepare learners for activities of daily living.
This program will follow a curriculum focused on:
Skills to take care of one’s self(i.e. Hygiene/personal care and basic cooking skills)
Caring for one’s environment(i.e. including, laundry and cleaning skills)
Self-advocacy and organizational skills
Communication skills
Social skills
Independence and leisure skills
This program is supervised by a Registered Behaviour Analyst and is delivered in a ratio of three (3) youth to one (1) staff.
