The Prep Program Preparation for Life

The PREP Program is designed for youth ages 9-12 years and will focus on developing core skills to increase independence and prepare learners for activities of daily living.

This program will follow a curriculum focused on:

  • Skills to take care of one’s self(i.e. Hygiene/personal care and basic cooking skills)

  • Caring for one’s environment(i.e. including, laundry and cleaning skills)

  • Self-advocacy and organizational skills

  • Communication skills

  • Social skills

  • Independence and leisure skills

This program is supervised by a Registered Behaviour Analyst and is delivered in a ratio of three (3) youth to one (1) staff.
