Core Clinical Services
Starting in March 2021, the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services began offering needs-based funding to families for Core Clinical Services.
This funding provides children and youth on the autism spectrum with access to evidence-informed clinical services at a range of intensities responsive to their unique strengths, needs, opportunities and goals.
Core clinical services and supports include
Applied Behaviour Analysis.
Speech-Language Pathology.
Occupational Therapy.
Mental Health Services, including counselling and/or psychotherapy.
Technology at the recommendation of a regulated health professional or Board-Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA).
